Compare differences between two text files.

About this tool

This tool is used to compare two versions of a text file. It has been set up to compare either source code, or other text not related to code.

It uses Git's diff command to do the comparison.

It is naturally designed for comparing versions of source code, however, this tool has also adapted it for comparing regular text.

How to use it

If you are comparing code, we recommend using the "Code" option. This will provide a full output of git diff which can then be saved to create a patch file.

For other purposes, use the text option.
